I am glad you are thinking of selecting a theme–this will make your wedding stand out from all the rest.
You might add 1-2 sentences to your invitations and your wedding website to explain what you are hoping your guests will wear. Expect that they will call with questions because you selected an unusual theme. Remember, each guest may have things in their closets which could be combined to fit into your theme. When I have ideas, I will list them under the theme’s title. Of course, your definition of the theme is the one that is important!
