Hey, Christie!
I love planning my wedding at Ainsworth House & Gardens! You and your staff are amazing! Thank you!!!
I would love to add personalized touches for our wedding that up the fun level. What do you see trending for weddings in 2025?
–Felicity, Flummoxed in Florence, Oregon

Hey, Felicity!
I love collaborating with you too! Thanks for the great question!
I’m so glad you’ve booked your date already. Because of the 2025 wedding trend that couples are selecting a venue such as Ainsworth House & Gardens which has existing, beautiful spaces which don’t require a lot of decoration, our calendar is filling up quickly. (By not spending much money on décor, these couples are investing those dollars into elevated food or music.)
We’re seeing a number of changes from 2024 to 2025. While florals were often understated and pastel in color, our engaged couples often opt for 2-3 large floral installations which give a “Wow!”

What I love is the trend toward added fun and fabulous guest experiences for 2025. Here are five  of our favorite trends for 2025:
1. A Personalized Coffee Bar: We are in the Pacific Northwest, land of ubiquitous coffee! Caterers or food trucks can create an amazing coffee bar at which your guests can get personalized hot or cold libations. Depending on your vendor, there might be sweet pastries or other fun food to accompany each drink!
2. 360° Photobooth with Props: Want to raise the fun? Level up from a regular photobooth to one that takes images all the way around your guests! Offer props either related to your wedding’s theme or the season and let your guests have a blast creating memories to last a lifetime!
3. Picture this! A Portrait Artist! Let your guests capture this moment in time at your wedding by having their portrait done by an artist right there and then! The portrait becomes a keepsake which your guest can keep or give to a loved one.
4. Bespoke Poet at the Party: Hire a poet to author bespoke poems about your guests! What incredible fun!
5. Late night bites: Many weddings extend after the reception with the party going on until the early hours of the next day. To make sure that your guests don’t faint because they are famished, offer food to keep the festivities going such as nachos, sushi, sliders, tacos, burgers with fries (of course!), chicken bites, or personalized wood-fried pizza. Your caterer or a food truck are the perfect ways to provide fun food!
I hope this gets your creativity amped up! Let me know if you have any questions.
